Hello I’m Teresa.
I began practicing yoga nearly 20 years ago when I was going through a difficult time. Yoga helped me find peace and calm and became my sanctuary; a place to go where my mind could be still while my body moved through the Asanas. Yoga became my moving meditation.
Having now completed my Teaching Certificate it gives me great joy to think that I can hopefully help others gain the many benefits of yoga for mind, body and soul.
To me yoga is not about acrobatics or about how well you can turn yourself into a pretzel (although that would be impressive), it’s about learning how to be in the here and now, how to enjoy the little things, and how not to be consumed by the big things. And as an added bonus you also gain a flexible, relaxed body.
